Walker Sands a market research firm in their just released report - Re-inventing Retail looking at retail, ecommerce and the potential role virtual reality will play.

Key findings?

Two out of every three consumers surveyed say they would like to try shopping with the help of the Oculus virtual reality system.

63 percent of consumers they “expect such [virtual reality] capabilities to change they way they shop,”.

The next obvious question is who’s building the platform to enable retailers to build their own virtual shopping environments so people can use the virtual reality headsets like Oculus to shop within?

Ahem. We could tell you but we might have to first swear you to secrecy.
