Snobal a Techboard Top 10 Trending Australian VR/AR Startup

It was a lovely surprise to check LinkedIn this morning and discover that Techboard, a monthly ranking of Australian trending startups and young high potential technology companies has placed Snobal as one of the top 10 trending VR/AR startups in Australia for July!

Perth based ASX listed Velpic, a video e-learning platform, was the top trending trending AR/VR startup for the month with other start-ups ranked included Tagspace (top tending VR/AR startup for NSW).

Techboard ranking includes input from a local panel of experts to identify the startups tech companies that have “got the experts attention over the ranking period”.

Victorian panel experts included Joe Barber, Accelerating Commercialisation, Department of Industry and Science; Kristen Holden, Startup Manager, MYOB; Paul Carboon, Business Development Manager, Hydrix; Dinushi Dias, Journalist & Producer; Christine Christian, Chairperson Kirwood Capital, Joesph Galvez, Thundering Herd and Georgia Beattie CEO at Startup Victoria.

The Techboard Ranking began in September 2015 by  co-founders, Peter van Bruchem and Rafael Kimberley-Bowen as a way of raising the profile of startups and young tech companies by “helping to highlight trending or up and coming companies, those who are attracting greater mindshare”.

Founded in 2014, when Snobal was one of only a handful of VR/AR companies in Australia, it’s fabulous to see the growing, diverse and dynamic VR/AR companies Australia is producing.
