- Opportunity for a talented and experienced UI/UX Design Lead to play a key role in driving UI/UX design at Snobal as it executes its mission of being the market-leading enterprise VR/AR platform that powers the workplace metaverse.
- Understand our customer's needs and requirements to design an exceptional and delightful user experience on our web platform that also aligns with our business strategy and takes account of any technical limitations;
- Play a key role helping to build out the Snobal global UI/UX design team globally as we scale;
- Work with a seriously talented team of experts in VR/AR with a supportive, flexible culture that embraces virtual working.
- Work with enterprise and education customers spanning North America, Europe, and APAC;
- Full time remote and ongoing position with remuneration negotiable depending on experience;

What you'll do
Here are the key areas you’ll help with:
- Work as a key member of the product and platform development team and take the leading in refining and implementing a UI / UX strategy aligned to the overall Snobal design strategy;
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas;
- Take the lead in ensuring brand consistency with UI, UX of our web platform;
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering;
- Help support Snobal’s cloud roadmap ensuring it is aligned with business outcomes;
- Provide input into technical discussions on the design and build of new features and functionality on our platform, Snobal Cloud;
- Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to figure out the best solution to tricky problems;
- Help capture innovations, document research and development, lessons learned, and successes on projects, and share them with the wide Snobal team;
- Conduct customer insight desktop research, capture and share data to understand changing customer needs;
- Positively provide input as the team grows, including identifying skill gaps and upskilling requirements/training opportunities;
- Proactively identify areas of continuous improvement.
- Participate in design and code reviews and help to drive a culture of quality in software development.
You will have:
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer in a SaaS company;
- Minimum 5 years experience as a graphic designer role with excellent design and prototyping skills;
- Excellent proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro and Figma.
- Experience working with agile project management tools - JIRA, Confluence;
- Ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment;
- Collaborative outlooks with the ability to provide a strong rationale for your decisions and an openness to feedback and input;
- Understanding of the requirements of enterprise customers
Highly regarded:
- Interest in and a passion for all things Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality;
- Knowledge of HTML and/or CSS is good to have, but not essential;
- Video production / editing capabilities highly;y regarded but not essential.
