We build XR enabled digital twin software & solutions
Snobal is a technology company. We create and build virtual reality and augmented reality (XR) enabled digital twin software and solutions with insights to help solve real world challenges and knowledge gaps around data and processes. Snobal’s XR software and solutions cover various lines of business including design; asset planning and maintenance, marketing and training.
As humans we are biologically primed to make sense of the world in 3D, yet so much of what we do in designing, communicating, understanding complex environments, data and knowledge is communicate those ideas and designs via images, flythroughs, videos, 2D drawings, spreadsheets and text.
It makes no sense.
Snobal’s software helps organisations of all sizes and industries better understand their data, knowledge or processes so that they can collaborate and test design more effectively, communicate faster and use business insight more effectively.
Our XR software and solutions are about much more than using XR for visualisation. All user interaction and data imported into the virtual environment is tracked, captured and reported to Snobal Cloud for enhanced insight and understanding.

What is XR?
XR is an umbrella term representing virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR).
What is a digital twin?
A digital twin is a digital replica of a physical asset, environment or process. Typically it includes a model of the physical asset, process or environment, data from the asset or environment obtained via instrumented environments and the ability to monitor the asset without having to be physically there.
What is an XR enabled twin?
An XR enabled twin is Snobal’s unique take on the concept of a ‘digital twin’. A digital twin is a digital replica of a built environment, data or process. An XR enabled twin is an XR replica of a built environment, data or process.
What data types can you import into your software?
Our software enables the import of most types of data file types including Revit, Navisworks, FBX, point cloud, videos, images and much more. Contact us to find out more.
Is your XR software about visualisation?
Visualisation is a given with Snobals XR software and solutions.
Snobal’s XR software and solutions also captures and tracks all user interactions in the virtual environment and reports back to Snobal Cloud for enhanced insighs. Ideal for design testing and review as well as training for example.
Snobal’s software also enables the ability to maipulate and modify data imported thereby fostering novel ways of understanding and collaboration around data and processes.
Do I need to purchase headsets?
All Snobal products are shipped with specified VR head mounted displays (VR HMD’s). The development of VR HMD’s is occurring at a rapid pace. This means the exact VR HMD specified will depend on the XR product and solution requirements. At this moment in time Snobal typically works with Oculus Quest, Pico and Varjo.

What do I need to do to ensure headset hygiene?
For your peace of mind and comfort we suggest that headset hygiene cover three key areas – hand and personal hygiene, headset hygiene, hand controller (and peripherals) hygience. Learn more.
Where is your platform Snobal Cloud hosted?
Snobal Cloud is our proprietary cloud-hosted platform for ease of creating, delivering, analysing and managing XR environments and experiences.
How frequently is Snobal Cloud updated?
Snobal Cloud is updated as frequently as required or as updates are identified and enacted.
