What is XR?
XR is an umbrella term representing virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR).
Is Snobal Cloud compatible with Oculus products?
Snobal Cloud is device (headset) agnostic. This means it is compatible across many VR headsets.
Some VR headset manufacturers require that you use their XR deployment platform. Facebooks Oculus for Business platform requires that you use only Oculus products such as the Quest.
Also as Snobal Cloud is an enterprise grade platform it means that Snobal Cloud is not compatible with Oculus Quest.
Do I need to purchase my own VR headset to use a Snobal Solution?
All Snobal Solutions are shipped with specified VR head mounted displays (VR headsets).
The development of VR headsets is occurring at a rapid pace. This means the exact VR headset specified will depend on the solution requirements.
At this moment in time Snobal typically works with Pico prodcuts and Varjo.
If you currently have a headset purchased and wish to talk to us about accessing out deployment platform, Snobal Cloud and / or a solution talk to us to find out more.
We have an VR/AR solution / experiences which is currently ‘standalone'. Can we have this deployed on Snobal Cloud?
Yes. If you have one XR solution/experience and would like to use Snobal Cloud to delivery the content then the Starter Plan might suit your needs. If you have more than one solution requiring deployment, authoring and reporting you might want to consider the Grow Plan.
Please note are currently developing comprehensive developer documentation to better support the build of XR solutions to Snobal Cloud.
Do I need to purchase headsets to use Snobal Cloud or your VR/AR experiences or solutions?
All Snobal Solutions and experiences are built with specified VR head mounted displays (headsets) in mind. However, if you already have invested in headsets such as Pico or Varjo products you can use Snobal Cloud without needing to purchase a Snobal sourced headset.
What headsets are compatible with Snobal Cloud?
New headsets are coming on the market all the time and Snobal has close relationships with some of the world’s leading VR/AR hardware manufacturers.
Currently VR headsets that are compatible with Snobal Cloud include Pico and Varjo products.
What do I need to do to ensure headset hygiene?
For your peace of mind and comfort we suggest that headset hygiene cover three key areas – hand and personal hygiene, headset hygiene, hand controller (and peripherals) hygience. Check our headset hygiene guidelines.
How frequently is Snobal Cloud updated?
Snobal Cloud is updated as frequently as required or as updates are identified and enacted. Check our latest updates.
Can you tell me about Snobal Cloud and Snobal Solutions security?
Snobal understands that security and compliance is a shared responsibility between Snobal and our customers. We have developed Snobal Cloud with security in mind using best industry practices in software as a service (SaaS). Check security for more information.

Yes. You can book a trial or test drive of Snobal Cloud apk to upload your XR experiences on the platform and see how they platform works for you in terms of device management and experience management. Test drives of Snobal Cloud typically are for one week.
